Welcome to the first edition of Optometry Web - a newsletter focused entirely on leveraging the power of your web site to help build your practice. The EyeCarePro team has launched over 500 optometric practice web sites, and we'd like to share that experience through Optometry Web. Once a month, we'll share design and content tips, review new tools and services, and give advice on what to do, and just as importantly, what not to do on your web site.

We bring you Google Analytics, one of the top web site statistical packages on the Internet, free for your unlimited use. From now on, Google Analytics will keep track of all traffic that comes to your site.
...1000 patients? Well, maybe not 1000, but it IS important to put your picture up on your web site. 48% of practices have a photo of each optometrist online, while 33% have staff photos online.
There are many places within EyeCarePro where you can upload a graphic or photo to your site - the logo on the home page, pictures or clipart throughout the site, and photos of doctors and staff. Instead of adding your own photos, we also have clipart to help with getting the visual impact on a page. All of out clipart was taken by professionals, in an actual clinic.
