The program has six levels, the first five determined by “photochromatic share” or the percentage of your total lens sales that are photochromatic. Each level has various marketing supports as well as benefits and rewards that you can earn. The program provides insights into how to best introduce the idea of photochromatic into your lens prescribing and patient education.
The program starts with your practice having a Transitions “champion” or ambassador who will “own” the program and keep the practice moving through the levels. This is good advice for any effort that you wish your practice to succeed with.
EyeCarePro has the distinction of being a Transitions Optical rewards partner. Practices reaching Level 4 (30% photochromatic share) are entitled to a free assessment of the practice’s online “storefront” and social media presence. This report will demonstrate how and where you can improve the effectiveness of your Internet marketing. Level 4 also earns you a free ECP website for one year paid for by Transitions. All of the benefits of an EyeCarePro site at no cost to you. At Transitions Star Partner Program Level 5, the benefits further increase. In addition to the Level 4 benefits, practices reaching a Level 5 or what is known as “Pro Forum” status, are entitled to three months of free ODLingo service.
