Photos for Subpages
In addition to Doctor & Staff Profile photos and images used to attract attention on the home page or in a slide show it is helpful to include photos on the subpages of your website. These photos, used throughout the content of the site, enhance the viewer's experience.
Don't forget that EyeCarePro.net comes with an extensive library of photos and illustrations that you can choose to add to your pages at any time. This is a fast, easy and inexpensive way to dress up your pages. To access these images click on the "photo" icon when you are editing text, choose Browse Server and then click the + sign beside Stock Images to choose the image you would like to use.
Photo Ideas
- Smiling person behind the reception desk
- A good shot of the entire exterior of the practice (ideally in nice weather)
- The front door area if it is attractive (maybe showing the practice signage)
- Different shots of the doctor(s) with patient(s)
- Patients in an exam room or using interesting equipment during their eye exam
- The optical shop/boutique area
- The waiting room
- A client trying on glasses or holding contact lens products
Tips
- Photos can be vertically or horizontally oriented.
- They should be about 300-400pixels in width (if you are shooting at 300dpi that is only about 1 to 2" in width).
- If photos include patients you must obtain their permission to use the image. Read the box on Using Patient Photos before you proceed.
