Technical Tips: Send The Right Form To The Right Person, Every Time
Every EyeCarePro web site is equipped with web forms that help create a patient, and potential patient self-serve center. They can request an appointment, submit their Patient Registration forms, give feedback to the office, and contact doctors and staff. You can decide what email address, or addresses should receive each form.
Most Doctors are interested in getting the Feedback or Satisfaction forms to their own email but not the Patient registration forms. In fact, many offices set up email addresses designed to manage the flow of patient registration, registration@.....com or admin@....com. These email addresses can be forwarded, or configured as POP3 or IMAP addresses.
You'll find all your forms in the Contact Us section of your site. When editing this section, be sure to select the most appropriate email address for each form to be sent to. You can set up multiple addresses in each field. Insert a semi-colon ; between each email address. For example, if you want the Patient Satisfaction form results to be sent to both your own email address and the Office Manager's address, you would enter (for example) myaddress@....com;officemanager@...com .
Many pages on your EyeCarePro site have an 'Email' link. Every 'Email' link is connected to a Feedback form where patients can select the right person in the practice they would like to contact. The patient can only choose to contact someone from the practice that you have listed, and will never see an email address. Take some time to configure your EyeCarePro site to include all the possible staff that a patient might want to contact.
Forms are a great way to serve your patients. Patients appreciate being able to fill in forms on their own time, and send in their comments and questions at their convenience. Make sure your forms are properly set up on your site, and are helping you serve your patients better.
